Walking in Vancouver, British Columbia

Inspirations from Vancouver - Beautiful and Friendly City

  • Its a different experience walking in the rain in Vancouver. First off I don't need to dodge puddles and if I have to step into one I know that there is a bottom to it unlike Bangalore where sometimes I am terrified of what lies beneath the many rain puddles.
  • The best part of walking is that the road is clean
  • Then there are cars that stop when I cross the road - even when there is no policeman.

  • The pavements slope to the level of the road at intersections - perfect for wheelchairs and prams and bicycles.
  • If you decide to get a cup of coffee while you walk, you could actually slip-on a jacket that insulates you from the hot liquid - perfect.
  • And if you are new to the city or are even getting reacquainted with it - there are accurate Websites with relevant data that ensure you know whats in the store and where.
